Being a parent is the best job in the world. But sometimes it’s tough.
That’s why the Scottish Government has created Parent Club. Because in those moments, when parents and carers need somewhere to turn, we want to be there for you, with information you can trust, all in one place.
Through pregnancy to toddler tantrums and starting school, all the way up to those tricky teenage years, Parent Club is here to help. Offering tips and advice for all the challenges that family life throws up.
Everything we do is informed by evidence and insight. We work with other parents, child and family experts and the NHS to understand the needs of Scotland’s parents and carers. All the advice, information and tips on the website have been approved by professionals who know exactly what you’re going through, including midwives, nurses, child psychologists, mental health professionals and organisations like the NSPCC, Barnardo’s, Citizens Advice Scotland and lots more.
We regularly review and update the information on Parent Club, to make sure we’re always giving you the most up-to-date advice. And we’re always looking for ways to add to and improve the website, which is why we ask for your comments in the feedback form at the bottom of each article.
We also carry out regular testing on the website, to make sure you can find, understand and use the advice easily on the site.
Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you again soon. After all, we’re all in the same club.
